San Sebastian Train Station

The main train station in San Sebastian is the Estacion del Norte. This station is an attraction itself as the canopy covering the platforms was designed by Gustave Eiffel, of the Eiffel Tower (Paris) fame.

RENFE

This train company goes from Madrid through San Sebastian and to Irun/French Border. From Madrid, the train to San Sebastian departs from the San Martin Station. RENFE also services the route from Barcelona. Go to www.renfe.es for details.

This Great Speed Train belongs to the French Train Company, SNCF. You can go to San Sebastian from Paris by taking the TGV to Hendaia then taking the Eusko Trenbideak from Hendaia to San Sebastian. Go to www.sncf.fr for details. Take note, when booking a train in France, mention that you are going to San Sebastian, Spain, as there is also another city in France named San Sebastian.

Euskotren

This takes the routes from Henaye – San Sebastian – Lasarte and Donostia – San Sebastian – Bilbao.
